Desiree (aka “Dizzy”) Williams

Strength: Leadership

Weakness: Impatient.

 

Dizzy is the leader of the group. She’s smart, witty, and loves to be in charge. Ever since she became Principal for the Day, she can come off as being a little bossy. She’s got a beautiful singing voice. Dizzy has a baby brother named Joel, who doesn’t really do much…ever. She tries to blame him when she can’t get what she wants. When meeting new people, Dizzy tends to have little patience for their personalities. She thinks she’s always right. She usually learns from her mistakes over time, and truly cares about her friends no matter what.

Chauncey (aka “Cheeks”) Willis

Age: 11

Strength: Loves attention

Weakness: Selfish

His friends call him Cheeks for obvious reasons. Cheeks is friendly, and loves to be the center of attention. He thinks the world revolves around him, and can be annoying sometimes. Cheeks loves to eat, and his favorite restaurant is Beef-a-Reef. When it’s time to eat, his favorite expression is, “Oh, man, it’s time to jam!” 
This is a character that you’re sure to love in each and every book!

Stuart Glover

Age: 11

Strength: Great self-esteem

Weakness: Has a crush on Dizzy.

 

Stuart’s got a big crush on Dizzy and hates to be outdone by anybody. He thinks he’s really cool, which makes it hard for him to become friends with Cheeks at first. He learns to tolerate their differences, and they end up being best friends. His hat is always covering his eyes. It’s really there to hide his unsightly mole. Stuart’s hands can usually be found in the pockets of his sweatshirt. Stuart has a pet turtle, and likes to rap.

Derrick (aka ‘Bubble Gum Boy’) Bradley

Age: 11

Strength: Coolness

Weakness: None identified.

 

Bubble Gum Boy is always chewing bubble gum, and he is considered to be the coolest kid in the class. He does not have a particular best friend. Bubble Gum Boy’s confidence level is off the charts. He is extremely stuck-up, which causes people to not like him too much at first. Most people envy him, especially Stuart, because he is so cool. Dizzy eventually invites him into their group, which causes confusion at first with her best friends, Cheeks and Stuart.  Bubble Gum Boy’s cat, Gordon, steals the show on Pet Day. Bubble Gum Boy has a great sense of humor, he’s creative, and his favorite expression is, “That was rich. Good times…good times.”

Corinne Corelle

Age: 11

Strength: She’s outspoken

Weakness: Split personality.

 

Corinne is the fireball of the group. She’s new, and nobody seems to like her at first because she blurts out whatever is on her mind. She doesn’t really know how to make friends, but she’ll talk to anybody who’s sitting next to her. Corinne develops a slight crush on Bubble Gum Boy when Bubble Gum Boy brings in his cat, Gordon, on Pet Day. Her favorite expression is, “Right on, brother!”, which she shouts out with her fist high in the air. It is hard for her to be accepted by the group, and if they accept her, how long will it last?
